A tehen fuleben In the cow's ear

Gokarna picike falu, egy tengerbe nyulo felszigeten. A neve azt jelenti: a tehen fule, es a formaja is arra emlekeztet. A Hinduk ide jarnak Krisnat unnepelni.

Gokarna is a tiny village, located on a peninsula in the Arabian Sea. Her name means the ear of the cow. Hindu pilgrims come here to worship Krisna.

Our beach is 2-3 kms from the village in a hidden bay, with only a footpath
leading there. It is a traveller's paradise: beach huts and peaceful cafes away from the staring eyes of the Indians.

Ahogy Joci fogalmazott: a hely tele van aktiv semmittevokkel, akik a celtudatos jovocentrikus vilagtol menekulnek. Ki hetekre, ki honapokra ki evekre. A levegoben terjeng a gandzsa szag. Shanti, shanti. Bhang lassi.

The place is full of active non-doers who ran away from the future-centric world. Some for weeks, some for months and others for years. Gandja smell spreads in the year. Shanti, shanti. Bhang lassi.

Jogazas a beachen a delelotti napfenyben, ringatozas egy jo konyvvel a fuggoagyban. Dramai naplementek, szelid hullamok. Idealis buvohely nekunk, az ellazulasra, befele szemlelodesre.

Yoga on the beach in the morning sun, rocking in the hammock with a good book. Dramatic sunsets, gentle waves. Ideal shelter for us, to relax and to turn inwards.
